This story teaches you at least two life lessons. Never take. And never underestimate the power of networking.  

Kelsey Hall, a 20-year-old pupil from the University of Alabama, posted on Twitter that a pic of herself contested Twitter to provide her 1,000 retweets and while wearing a Christmas tree costume and she would wear it for the rest of the semester:  

But as the retweets trickled in, she soon regretted it:  

People reunite on Twitter to retweet her:   

Calls to retweet her multiplied over the hours and Kelsey started to get anxious:
