President Donald Trump said he turned off and believed it was “disgusting” when a older man fell off the stage at his Mar-a-Lago resort several years ago, based on a recently released interview he gave with Howard Stern at 2008.
From the interview–just one of such interviews that he had with the shock jock who have made headlines in recent days–Trump clarifies a lavish event that he was hosting in the resort where rich folks were mingling with Marines.
Soon, Trump reported an apparently unpopular “man, roughly 80 years old–quite wealthy man” dropped off the stage and began bleeding on the marble flooring of Mar-a-Lago’s ballroom.
“Thus what happens is, this man falls off right on his face, hits his head, and that I thought he died. And you know what I did? I said, ‘Oh my god, who’s disgusting,’ and I turned off,” Trump told Stern. “rsquo & I couldn;t, you know, he was right in front of me and I turned off. I didn’t want to touch rsquo; he & him & hellip;all over the place rust, I felt you know, rsquo, didn & amazing marble flooring;t seem great. Colour changed. Became quite red. ”
As Trump continues to recount the story, he told Stern that the Marines in attendance–that had been seated at the “worst table in the entire area”–hurried to help him as his wife was “screaming” and rich people were “turning out. ”
“The next day, I forgot to phone… to say is that he’so ok,” Trump said. “It’s simply not my thing… I simply don’t like looking at blood. ”
Trump is regarded as a germaphobe, but this isn’t the very first time he’s talked about individuals bleeding in Mar-a-Lago.
Earlier this season Trump began a heated war of words with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. At one stage, Trump said Brzezinski was “bleeding badly from a face lift” during a visit to the Floridia resort, a claim that was later debunked.
