Report: Omarosa ‘physically dragged’ from White House grounds

There might be more to Omarosa’lsquo s &;resignation’ than meets the eye.

Following the White House announced Wednesday that “Apprentice” celebrity turned White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman will depart the Trump administration, The Wall Street Journal reported that her departure was abrupt — describing her exit as confrontational — but the Secret Service pushed back to the report.

An unnamed White House official told the Journal that  Manigault Newman was “late Tuesday physically hauled and hauled off the campus & rdquo.

The particulars of rsquo & Manigault Newman;s departure. Inspired by Fox News if she was terminated, a White House aide referred back to a statement.

It stated: “Omarosa Manigault Newman resigned to pursue additional opportunities. Her departure will not be effective until January 2018. We are grateful for her services and wish her the best in future endeavors. ” 

The Secret Service issued a statement Wednesday saying that it was “not involved in the termination process or the escort off of the complex. Our only involvement in this matter was to deactivate rsquo & the person;s pass that grants access. ” 

Trump thanked Manigault Newman for her job.

“Thank you Omarosa for your services! I wish you continued success,” Trump tweeted shortly after the Secret Service published its announcement.

Tuesday was her last day, though Jan. 20 is the official exit date.  

Manigault Newman joined the administration as director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, that was designed to garner external supports schedule.

But she has drawn scrutiny.

The prior & ldquo; Apprentice & rdquo; contestant drew press attention after she attracted her party to get an & ldquo; extended & rdquo; photo shoot at the Rose Garden this past spring within the White House. It’s uncertain if she had permission. She was allegedly banned from posting some of those photographs online by White House officials citing security and ethical concerns.  

Manigault Newman’s decisions expected to be a round of departures heading to the new year.

The White House said last week that deputy national security advisor Dina Powell will depart the administration.
